Education

These are short term engagements, typically one day to one week, intended to provide clients with insight into relevant technical and business issues. These engagements align various parts of the organization with a common understanding, address issues and prioritize responses for how to proceed.

Direction (Strategy and Planning)

This is a planning engagement of typically 4-7 weeks to help clients get a detailed understanding of how business and technology issues/trends will impact and enable your organization and industry. This will also set a clear vision and objectives and create a plan (business and technical) to achieve competitive advantage. Because of the focus on competitive advantage and business benefit, business case is a major component.

Evaluation

These are more focused offerings of typically 3-7 weeks to explore an area of emphasis coming out of the direction engagement, to evaluate options to mitigate risk or refine direction in a specific area. Examples include the following: RFP creation, technology evaluation, role focus areas, governance model creation and appropriate delivery approach.

Program Management

A major component of risk mitigation and ensuring success is good program management. Primehaven offers traditional program management services to help clients achieve the results defined. This can be through the use of a full-time program manager or though part-time consulting help to augment the client's program management capabilities.

Continual Coaching

Primehaven offers trusted advisor services to clients at the senior management level. This could be directly associated to specific recommendations in previous phases of work, or tied to new ideas that the client wants to discuss. Participation in governance organizations is one way that clients have leveraged these services.

Iteration (Review and Refinement)

After a series of recommendations have been implemented, it is important for clients to assess the success and any changes in direction or prioritization. Primehaven helps clients do post implementation reviews and refresh the plan that they are following. This can include re-prioritization of effort or business case attainment.
